5 Reasons Why Women Cannot Overtake Men

Nicole Scherzinge Shocking Reaction Image

Source: TMZ.com

In the most last few recent episodes of The X Factor USA, we have seen quite a couple of roller coaster ride eliminations as the competition get fiercer by the week as it moves into the semi-finals.

Yesterday it proved and validated a point on a question which majority if not all of the ladies who aspires to succeed and win respect plus recognition from the gentlemen fail to understand the reasons to why they don’t know what the reason is to the question.

It was when Nicole Scherzinger made was unable to make the decision in her capacity as a judge when the decision power is in her hands, that she give up and let the public (America) decide who to eliminate and push onto the semi-finals round, between Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty.

In difficult times, leaders are equipped with a winners mindset, they have great foresight, and they accept, admit their mistakes immediately and moves forward without any regrets, but Nicole being a singer only, and not as a production like Simon Cowell nor L.A Reid, did not understand this point clearly in the video, evident the moment she went into shock and started crying herself as a judge, being consoled by Paula Abdul.

Below are a couple of reasons to summarize why women cannot overtake men unless they are able to be responsible for their own actions.

1. Be consistent

2. Stick to your own principles

3. You must immediately MAKE a SWIFT DECISION | Go with your gut feeling, not emotions

4. Don’t ever regret over your choices, admit your mistake immediately only if it goes against you | “Don’t cry over spilled milk” | Do Soul Reflection Immediately

5. Learn to face the music | What must come will come, no point hiding or avoiding it when it is a task we have to take even if it is a unpopular decision. > Learning to take responsibility and live with it.

Why Ladies Cannot Overtake Men (since history to-date)

Disclaimer: The following are just examples which I use as reference to showcase why ladies can’t beat the glass ceiling as there’s such a saying and it’s my own opinion from a business perspective. I hope you (whoever is readying) will learn from other people’s mistakes and learn from it.

- Consistency : Nicole failed to practice this point, as she was able to cast a vote last week to send Drew Ryniewicz back but not Rachel Crow.

- Stick to your principles: Nicole as a judge in X Factor didn’t stick to her principles in terms of judging and compromise on her voting rights as a judge.

- Making a decision fast: Both Paula and Nicole have caused X Factor elimination results to go into deadlock before, which shows that winners must be able to do just that, look at Simon, he made a mistake with Drew, and immediately beg for help when at the voting in public at the live show instead of whispering into their ears nor avoiding the mic.

- No regrets: It was Rachel who show us a positive side of her when she said to Nicole prior to her casting the decisive vote: “Please don’t cry, I will go with anything” that shows that Rachel is mentally mature to accept whatever comes to her, and indeed she did, after her elimination and crying, in the interview she was still cheerful and ready to move on to the next stage of her life. She repeated console Nicole again at the backstage.

- Face the music: Paula did a good job in this aspect, despite receiving death threats from last week’s elimination of Drew, she still take it in her pride and cast the vote as part of the rights of a judge to send send Rachel home this week (yesterday), unlike Nicole who might be new and inexperienced as a judge to waver and move towards the majority’s decision to gain acceptance in bid to reduce criticism, something that winners should never do, avoiding, but she did.

I hope the above post might give you real insights to the minds of a winner with real life examples.

To sum up, to be a winner, you must first associate yourself with winners who’s being there and done that. Both Drew and Rachel are already winners in their own fields and they were very positive despite their X Factor Loss. Here’s an interview of Drew for your reading, while Rachel is meeting up with Disney.

When you give in all your best, you will be appreciated and opportunities will come one way or another.

Losing is part of Winning

Losing image

In business, there is a skill that majority of business owners knows but will never talk about it and it is to lose. Losing actually accounts for over fifty percent of the business secrets, something that I gradually realized over the years of learning about doing business from mentor(s) from people of all walks of life.

Most of which are actually failures in life, living in misery, only a couple of which are really successful and they pointed out critical pointers that connects all the dots.

In most multi-national corporations, losing is a  strategy that only companies with deep financial wallets are able to play. Xbox is a gaming unit that Microsoft released just to combat against Sony play station gaming console and to reduce the growing market share of Sony in the gaming market share. It is a bleeding business that’s not profitable where revenue is concern, but to reduce and eliminate competitor’s growing influence, large business are often left with little and no choice to implement that only possible way they can possible know and that is to literally slow down the growth of their competitor’s growing presence and influence.

The most recent unprofitable business will be HP tablet, where they previously declared that they are withdrawing from the tablet market, but turn last minute take back their words and choose to enter the porfitable market but only exclusive to Apple only, even the next closest competitor Samsung is facing an uphill battle fighting against the Apple with their solid system and gadget synchronization with Macbook, ipod, iPhone and iPad that gives their clients a full range of interdependent gadgets allowing end users a larger range of playground to explore on their own on how they like to use the gadgets to the fullest.

In most businesses these days, there are lots more businesses that’s actually making a lose..and bleeding profusely, only that they have other businesses that are providing surplus profits that are able to help businesses recoup their losses, thus they are actually still making a decent if not extra profits as compared to other smaller businesses that may not have other alternative sources of revenue to cover their losses. Losing is a skill, a commercial strategy in fact, to gradually drain the life of other competitors who may have lower financial war-chest to compete and eventually taking over new territorials that competitors has given up. It is just a time factor.

To win, and attain success, is to first learn how to lose, and lose intelligent, not bleeding profusely without any other alternatives solutions to fix a black hole of financial losses. Once an individual or an organization master the skill of doing so, they can over time gradually swallow up competitors either by en-circling them, or buying over via acquisition or take up the lose-lose situation in the short term to win in the long term when smaller competitors burst their wallets and budgets.

The next time you want to learn from a mentor or a organization, try to dig out or probe about their loss strategy, than will you be one-step closer to winning, but you will not be able to learn such losing strategies unless you are near the top of the management, with a superior that can give you insights to how competitors and businesses in the industry are doing with real market data, that makes a lot of different in terms of actual business experience.

If you can’t absorb what I’m saying, just remember the old saying “Failure is the mother of all success”

Losing

Loser Image

Losing is part of winning. It is part of a strategy. Most people would not want to lose, but in business, and in relationship, we have at times are to lose willingly by making compromise on some things in order to move forward.

Such as to use modern medications, drugs prescribed by medical hospitals and clinic doctors, as we want that drug to help us regain better health, we have to lose a bit of consciousness, getting sleepy at part of the most common side effect that may cause a temporary drop in job performance.

But as long as the temporary drop in performance isn’t a permanent fixture in employment, it is not taken seriously nor will it affect the overall result.

Just moments ago, i wrote about failure, it is part of losing, in fact it is the end result. Losing on the other hand is the process, where the result is yet to be determined.

It depends on what you do and how you react and response accordingly to make things better for you in future.

There’s a saying: “No Pain, No Gain”

We must not be afraid of losing, for it is only after that we lost something, than will we gain something else. Most probably we gain wisdom, intelligence, maturity and experience that would come in handy in solving future problems that comes again.

Even in health, we also need to lose to win. Lose the unhealthy trans-fat, low-density lipo-proteins (LDL) cholesterol for healthy body.

In relationship, we need to lose bad friends with bad company associated with gangs, drugs, and find good friends and company who will lend you a listening ear, help you get up when you fall down. Although it is not physically helping you stand up, but emotionally and mentally be there for you when you need one, it is such that we first need to learn how to lose (correctly) to actually win and move forward.

In business, no organization nor boss can be stingy nor cheapskate to control every single cent that flows in and out of the company or risk zero loyalty possibility if they are stingy with giving employees the right attire, food, accommodation in some industry. All of which falls under business expenses, if everybody is stingy, cheapskate, they cannot and will never gain something back in return. That being said..it is time for us to all learn how to lose to win.

In employment, we lose freedom, time, but we gain money, knowledge, experience that are beneficial in the long term as long as we know how to use it to our advantage.

Losing is not something that must be feared, but being a loser and never able to pick up and stand on their own feet is something that must be learn and avoid at all cost. As such, start figuring out, how can you lose positively to win more in life.

A loss is not a loss until you completely give up and stop trying to recoup your losses.

If you want to be a winner, start losing something.

You can lose but you cannot be a loser.
