5 Reasons Why Strong Leadership Is Important

posted by ryan

Leadership Picture

Just like the leadership picture above, “The leader always sets the trail for others to follow”

In the recent ongoing Thailand flooding news, Yingluck Shinawatra the new Prime Minister of Thailand is immediately being placed in a position to be tested for her leadership and ability to take Thailand and move forward.

Being faced with the sudden flooding over increase rainfall and poor water dam management system, lack of governor support from Bangkok, she shares the same fate of any politician across the globe and suffered a recent drop in satisfaction in the country survey with her as the Prime Minister.

Looking back at how she became elected, most critics would clearly comment that it was her brother Thaksin Shinawatra who has elevated her status over close ties due to family bonding. Just as Yingluck was elected into the office, she had a minister office meeting with Thaksin on the video conference to advise the cabinet ministers on the exact steps and instructions on how to run the country prior to the flooding, so as to enforce a pillar of support drilling down into the cabinet ministers who are all guys to listen to Yingluck, as she can’t shake away the gossips of her being the puppet of her brother.

As to why Yingluck won, it’s clear to anybody who’s got concerned and knows the importance of network, connections to those individuals who has both power and ability to run a country where some ministers still trust Thaksin and not Yingluck.

Abhisit Vejjajiva the former Prime Minister on the other hand got to power by primarily having merchants and investors support on his side to climb up to that position, but it isn’t long before the truth is revealed as he also has got news reports of bribing or favoring investors more over country’s political laws at the expense of the poor.

Abhist got kicked out from the cabinet due to the almost similar method that he used on Thaksin, which is to favor the rich investors for support, but what he failed to do is to win the support of the poor too, a move that Thaksin did extremely well, at least when it comes to the Red Shirts.

If you were to follow closely to how Thailand’s change of leadership over the last few years where news surface and reasons contributing to their downfall. There’s a couple of reasons to why strong leadership is critical towards a success of a nation.

Strong leadership is important for the following reasons:

1. To lead and improve the living conditions of the masses (majority)

This is evident during Thaskin era when he was still the Prime Minister, having the support of both the Red and Yellow shirt party.

Red shirt support comes in the form of the poverty majority, whereas Yellow shirt comes in the form of silent support from the Thailand King who maintain a neutral position when Abhist was trying to topple Thaksin down, thus the Yellow shirt didn’t make much noise when he was at the top following the loyalty to the King.

2. To go against the views of the ill-informed (poor mindset individuals) who are making the wrong decisions to push forward against the tide to make reforms for the better future.

As much as Yellow shirt dislike Thaksin, could be due to wrong information, disagreements in how the country is being run, thus the strong opposition, but time has proven Thaksin to be clean and still holds influential support in terms of bilateral ties. Yingluck appointed a former Thaksin entrusted minister to fixed the strain ties between Cambodia and Thailand over the historical temple parked directly on the border of both countries and got the matter fixed.

Unlike before when Abhist was still in office, Thailand and Cambodia was like kids fighting each other just to win for the pride of their own ego just to prove their point in not backing down despite repeated agreements to cease-fire to return peace to the civilians living near the temple.

That said, connections is extremely important, as Countries and Businesses alike, they only work with people they like. Period.

3. Win the support of the majority to have a large bargaining chip to  to reach a mutually beneficial agreement on both sides internally within a country.

Thaksin has won over the hearts of many people, at least within the red shirts, the poor, middle class and even the high social status individuals including the ministers over proven track record of delivering results and profits for the benefit of the country.

The only thing he didn’t do is to cut all ties from his personal business when he is in office as a Prime Minister, thus causing the backlash and giving his political competitors an opportunity to use it against him placing himself on the chopping board.

4. To win the support of external players (foreign countries support for aid in times of need)

When Thaksin flew global and went into self-exile, many countries were willing to lend him a helping hand, it is solely because of his knowledge and experience in running a country and producing consistent profits and most importantly (proven results), strong support from home country despite his lack of physical absence, his popularity is still consistent and didn’t drop, but rise on the other hand. Something that other countries’ Ministers cannot achieve.

5. To balance and neutralize the poisonous intoxicated thinking of the poor over time in proving that the leadership roles taken by the Prime Minister is correct and ultimately win the support of the very people who are initially against him/her.

The most difficult part of leadership is also at times having to force down a bitter pill down the throat of the supporters for their own good even if they don’t see it that way. While Yingluck has just assume office in the cabinet, she has got more obstacles standing in her way than the other earlier prime ministers.

Only time will tell if she is up to the role as prime minister.

In terms of business, running a company is also like running a country, just that the roles and responsibility is somewhat smaller due to financial asset and the impact it has on the country.

But like any leader, the person running the company must have strong leadership skills and many different resources, network and flexible enough to solve problems when they do surface and making sure the problems do not repeat itself again in future.

Singapore did a good job in this aspect avoiding the most financial woes of US, and Europe as she learn her lessons not to be overdependent on foreign nations. But as much as Singapore is trying to avoid the effects of foreign woes, it will still be affected due to long term positive working relations that will affect the economy.

United States of Amercia (USA) on the other hand is still suffering the losses in financial market since the downfall of Lehman Brothers and without a huge bank occupying the leadership role, the side effects of a no leader situation is clear, where unemployment is high, made worse following most recently rogue trader with a $2.3 billion of trade loss adding to the unemployment woes.

In terms of Europe, it is primarily due to uncooperative to nation as Geek lets the people decide their own fate to accept foreign financial aid or not on condition they tighten their budget and make changes beneficial to foreign countries that will be painful to Geek civilians at least in the immediately short term.

It is clear that being at the top isn’t a simple task and is constantly under pressure to delivery, thus strong leadership skills is crucial if success at the top is what each and everyone of us are looking for.

Failure is the mother of all success

posted by ryan

Failure Picture

There is a common saying, failure is the mother of all success.

While many people claim that they know they what failure means, but from the action, and response, it is clear that majority of the individuals do not even know the what the real definition of failure means.

To succeed and win in places where majority of all others have failed, there are a couple of reasons why we all must learn first learn to fail before we succeed.

In business, it is always a route of hardship and it is never easy. Should a individual or business entity always have a smooth journey towards the top, when he/she is faced with a obstacle, than will they understand why it is best to first learn how to fail before winning.

Reason being so is primarily because once the person at the top loses the top position, they will drop all the way downwards to the rock bottom, with no chance of survival. The person or entity at the second position who just took over the first spot, will utilize their own network and connection to block every single opportunity to block a fallen champion from reviving and take back their former glory.

Just look at Tiger Woods, the moment he dropped from his number one spot, to fifth, twentieth position and finally twenty-fifth world ranking than lost his own aura, the fear that most golfers would respect him has literally vanish into thin air. The respect that most golfers had of him gone down the drain, as he is still trying to correct his own swinging style to make improvements and get more birdies, eagle if not hole-in-one hopefully.

While the respect, aura of fear has vanish, the public and the crowd are still following Tiger Woods, as he still possess much more media attention than the other newly crown champions.

From the wife chasing after Woods causing him to get into a car accident, to sex scandals, to knee injuries, all bad times happening one after another, thus causing him to lose momentum, focus and old injury made matter worse..

While most can be prevented, by learning from history, but arrogance has led to his very downfall, and now he is learning to pick up the pieces and learn to be a better man by paying for the consequences in financial compensation to impose a gag order on his wife, his ex sexual partners from talking about it.

This is something that many of us can learn from, is to first fail many times, before we rise all the way to the top, so as not to allow such an incident from happening.

While we still do not know what is the future for Woods himself, all that we can hope for is that he had better find back the old shelf, with the good swing, and learn how to be a better man. It is only that after he apologize, and admit his mistakes, that the crowd is still willing to follow him, giving him a second chance.

Failure is not scary, in fact it is a must go-through experience, only which will it make us a better person. Success is scary, as it creates the illusion of everything is going smoothly, so there’s no contingency plans made, thus it is a long way back up to the top, taking a long time to climb back up.

To win, and attain success, fail first, and fail faster than all other competitors, so in the event competitors fail, we who have already failed, know how to do damage control, minimize the loss to the lowest, and emerge as the winner, just like how the Singapore economy was able to remain competitive and have a stronger currency value and positive outlook when the USA, Europe financial markets are in turmoil.

Thanks to our cabinet ministers and their rich experience of past hardships, experience, and most importantly, learning from history, than are we Singapore able to withstand what many other economies globally are unable to. That is success, and it should be celebrated, but celebrate it in a positive way to serve as a reminder for others not to repeat the same mistakes twice.

In short, to succeed, first you fail. Next if you fail again, learn from your own experience as well as your competitors’ failure and find out why it happened, and turn them into you experience. Next study what causes global failure regarding whatever markets that are connected to our sources of income and come up with back up plans to protect it from the incoming risk.

That should be the reason why failure will only lead us towards success, and not to repeat history to fail again twice in the same area.

Flexibility

posted by ryan

Flexibility Image

Flexibility is important not just in health, but also as important in relationship and in business, this is what I learn it the hard way.

After staying in a fix position looking in the direction of the speakers over live coaching training recording in my mentor’s office for his home study course over the last weekend, the next day, my neck was score to the core, tight muscles, having difficulty even turning to my right side normally. Instead of turning just the neck, I have to turn both my head and my body towards right side in order to see stuffs on the right side.

Second day, it got worse, having to experience pain even with just a sneeze, or slight movement. Left with no choice, consulted the general practitioner doctor in the polyclinic, she commented. “Our body is very strange, your muscles will get score if you don’t move at all, if you move too much, it will also get score.”

That was a wake-up call. That not only was it important to remain flexible, it is also important to remain flexible in relationship as well as in business.

In business, we must be flexible to stretch at times to meet goals and datelines and attempt to reach for the unreachable, that’s what it takes to do business. Testing anything and everything, multiple projects at a time instead of one project with different people taking charge for different projects respectively and measuring the results and going with the next best choice for profit and growth.

Whereas in relationship, it is to have quick-thinking, reactions, reflexes to respond accordingly. A person who is bad at handling relationships will be as bad in business, as it is all about people business, failure to handle people means failure in business. That’s what evolving and materializing in businesses all over the world right now.

Social Media Interaction via Internet Marketing has not only forced businesses to bend to the customers, but also force business owners to keep updated with the latest technology, trends and the next wave of best business practices.Fortunately, all these important information was taught to us by my mentors in a live-event recording for a product of home study program for businesses who wants to grow their business.

As for the specific name, I’ll reveal it only after my mentors launch the product globally to maintain its secrecy. The training program was excellent, teaching us what to do, and how to be part of the next wave before there’s even that has already hit United States, but not yet in Singapore, so we were told of best business practices from United States thanks to my mentor Fabian Lim, with his business partner Simon Leung as well as his business partner Andy Huang.

There have to be a balance in everything, too little, cannot, too much also cannot. Flexibility is somehow slightly different from change. The former is to be open minded and expose to different ideas irregardless if it is a brilliant or stupid idea. The latter however is to switch if not move towards a specific direction after something has happened, meaning to say, change is being forced upon, while flexibility is like having an advantage over the rest with a first-mover advantage by reaching for something before it even becomes a must.

Just like the picture above, it is not over-rated, but of course, we don’t need to be so fit like the lady in the picture, just stay open minded, and test everything that comes your way, and you’ll have the first mover advantage and experience to leverage on when others are still testing, you on the other hand already knows what the results will be like and how to market the results, products for a profit perhaps.

Lie

posted by ryan

Lie Picture

According to Wikipedia, To lie is to state something with disregard to the truth with the intention that people will accept the statement as truth.

Such an action is considered as a white lie depending on the perspective and whom it is coming from especially if duties and interest is concerned.

As shown in the latest armed robbery in Brisbane, Australia, claiming the cop on duty who responded to a armed robbery only to end up getting shot himself.

In the report, Gold Coast mayor Ron Clarke said specifically “It’s a safe city. There’s no safer city to walk down the streets at night time,”

“I’ve been in cities all over the world and the Gold Coast is where I would want to be.” Clarke told the Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper.

Despite Director of the Violence Research Program Griffith University, Professor Paul Mazerolle saying opportunistic crimes are on the rise, but the extent to which some criminals are going to get away with a crime is surprising.

Simply by thinking from the shoes of respective employment and duty, it is therefore essential for the mayor Ron Clarke to say a white lie claiming Gold Coast to be safe, claiming to have gone to cities all over the world only to slap himself in the face with that very statement. Noting if he really did travel over many cities, he should know that Singapore is much more safer than Brisbane where extremely low percentage of being caught in a armed robbery given the strong punishment laws in Singapore.

Such is a lie meant to ignore the truth and hopefully have the ignorant people believing what he said is the truth due to their lack of knowledge. As the representative mayor of Brisbane, he cannot say anything against the city, thus he has no choice but to tell a white against Professor Paul Mazerolle’s statements.

Such is a duty of a representative to required to perform his or her duty despite the truth for they cannot penalized their own city to decrease the tourism in Gold Coast for he may risk facing the sack if he ever does so, thus it is understandable on why the mayor did exactly so.

Having said my point, it is essential and of high importance that anybody who wants to succeed, be in any area or sector must also learn this skill, how to lie, but do so without causing much impact to your own creditability.

Business is not about being the best of the best, but rather being the best in encouraging more growth which accounts for profit which is of most importance, even if one has to lie. But before anybody thinks they can outsmart the clients, think again, there are also certain rules on how to go about lying if a person or a business really must lie in order to survive and stay ahead if not afloat of the competition.

The art of marketing is not all about selling, it also depends on how you sell your weakness and packaging it to look at though it is valuable. That is what schools and even private schools will not teach for it is considered one of the top secret to marketing contributing to the success of the business.

Zone

posted by ryan

Zone Picture

Zone in dictionary context may be nothing more than just territory or area in different nations, but in it has a deeper meaning in terms of entrepreneurship.

You might have come across if not heard of the phrase “Get in the zone” before..but have you ever thought what it truly means?

In world of business, where it is constantly at war for the following: niche market, brand,  retain and grow clients, profits by bringing more value and convenience to the end users who are ultimately the real boss of any business.

This question has always being bothering me for years..it was only recently that the puzzle has being solved..thanks to National Achievers Congress 2011 Singapore organized by Success Resources. With a ticket, attended the full three days..it is than I realized that I finally understand what it means.

Like majority if not all of the speakers having a similarity despite being different individuals, they all know where, what and how to play in their own zone.

If you’re still confused, it actually refers to playing by your core competency at where your strength truly lies in. Having the skill is not enough, to be able to continuously work without working is the definition of getting in the zone.

Find out, and ask yourself where your strengths and interest truly lies, if you can ever convert your passion into your life and provide value to the others.

Once you truly mastered and grasp the idea of what you can do for the whole of your life until you die without regrets, complains regardless of the hard work, little returns no matter how small it may be..you by than will have found your own zoning.

The elusive unique area that lies your passion, find ways to fuel your passion, keep it running, get comfortable (against all odds of rejections, disapproval) doing what you love, even if you may experience tremendous set backs on your journey towards your goal, just push on.

The reason why most entrepreneurs fail during their starting up phrase is due to failure to get within their own zones respectively. Once they experience financial issues, they take many steps back, but only an true entrepreneur push on, seeking other means to solve that problem with every single new attempt to fix whatever that’s not working in their favor and converting every No into a Yes as the ultimate goal.

Have you found your own zone yet? If you have not, start looking.

If you don’t know how to start, try out anything and everything that you can get yourself and your hands on..try everything, and ask if you like whatever you are doing currently, and if you can continue to do that very thing which you will not get sick off til the last day of your life.

If you found it, great, if you don’t start exploring. By the way, that’s the purpose of your life – the calling of your inner soul..that gets the super wealthy, influential individuals moving, staying clean from drugs, sex and bad publicity.

Find something that will allay your inner peace, give you a sense of happiness, most often that comes from sharing or helping others to find that value which you believe to be beneficial to many others too.

“Success is not a destination, but a journey..”

The more you give, the more you shall receive..

Threats

Threats Poster Image

Threats is an act of pressuring to elicit a negative response towards something in a form of loss over something during the process. It is also an expression of intent to inflict pain or damage in anyway possible.

It is a act that may work from time to time and depending on situations, but in most cases, it does not work in majority of the situations especially if used on strong opponents and people who are giving and supporting them to whatever status and authority they may be holding as representative of the people or the country.

Following are a few examples that the have either appeared in news papers if not on global news reports over threats from political and country of super-power.

First up is Malaysia Prime Minister Najib Raza who have threaten the local Malaysian Chinese voters to vote not to vote against the local Malaysia Party in order not to be in a situation where their Chinese interests are not looked after. A threat to the Chinese Population in Malaysia that holds around twenty-plus percent of the population. But that has pretty much being ignored, based on my personal point of view.

Just looking back at the number of successful Chinese Malaysian in Malaysia, and the answer is obvious. Compare it against those Chinese Malaysians who gain popularity and success by becoming a singer and selling their albums in Singapore, Taiwan showing that little effort has being done to help the Malaysian Chinese community.

Next up is most recent, with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew warning the Singaporean voters not to work for the opposition or they may have to spend the next five years to repent on their actions. Apparently, it seems from the election results, the warning fell on deaf ears. Following which was primarily due to the lack of engagement with the ground level citizens who are casting their votes. That may have sparked a resentment against the dominant political party namely PAP causing its defeat in the first ever GRC loss over Aljunied. News articles reports said it’s also partially due to their arrogance.

Actually, the party has already acknowledge their own problems but are just in their own denial to admit their mistakes, only following in the mid-process of election than to apologize, a step too late. Had it not for the consistent strong candidates recruited by Workers Party with proven track record, the People’s Action Party (PAP) might have a simple win, but since problems still remain, it is up to the voters to give the opposition a chance to prove their worth.

Which clearly reflects on the election results. With a complete wipe out of opposition except for Workers Party, it seems clear to us based on statistics that is gradually losing their votes count to the oppositions from past high vote percentage of over seventy percent to most recent election of only sixty plus percent.. That calls for a immediate soul-searching and reflection, which they did, but only it looks and seems clear, to be beautify the process only.

Much has to be seen on how the Workers Party proof their worth in five years time to determine if they retain, expand, or suffer deduction in Parliament seats.  Time will tell, for results will prevail.

This is similar if not identical to another example in the Formula One racing industry. Michael Schumacher, previous seven time world-champion has decided to retire for good, over reasons that it is now beyond his capabilities to win the race for the new young racers have upped their skills to which Michael Schumacher is unable to catch up to date. Such is a example of losing touch, and knowledge of the actual competitive segment.  People who have lost touch cannot find their way back in to basics after numerous at the top, retiring, having gotten comfortable with the high position.

Last but not the least is USA against China following the China race to arm itself stronger amidst the first ever operational aircraft carrier posting as a huge threat to USA dominance in power. As the threats previously given out from USA failed to work both on political and economical arenas, USA only than soften its approach and increase their priority in hold state discussions with China for cooperation and exchanging terms to each other in order to cash in on China’s growing affluent population to tap on their growing GDP.

USA only learn their lessons following the lost of Google when USA Politician Hillary Clinton stepping in demanding for transparent censorship law for their Google representing USA in China for fair competition that went on deaf ears. Learning on that lesson, it has no choice but to learn to accept China as the next growing super-power, for the host will reject any offender if they force their way in. Google along with USA learned it the hard way that they cannot demand for stuffs in ask China to bend the rules to USA advantage.

Actually there’s much to be learn from this incident, and it even dates back to many previous war periods which we can learn from. Before USA was considered a super-power, Japan, Greece, Romans, Germany, Russia all have once being in the shoes of being the dominant super-power country of their respective periods. Their own downfall was primarily due to arrogance, greed, refusal to accept change, over-estimating their abilities to apply same strategies on which ever countries they won via war victories that failed, when they failed to win the hearts of the locals. Thus giving room and growth opportunity to the next super power country that choose to take the leader position.

All of which comes to the respect, mutual benefits, room for growth, coordination and humility. Europe was once considered a super nation compromising of different continents before USA overtook their position. Learning from the lesson, Europe than learn to be humble and accept other races, religion and freedom, which is why there’s growth and excellence in the arts education, especially in Music, no colored lens towards people of different skin color, race nor religion, as opposed to USA which still practice such discrimination that is built in their culture and upbringing.

Even in Japan, during WWI & WWII, Japanese soldiers thought their own race and skin color was the best, even looking down on fellow yellow skin people in Asia, let alone those white skin race in other USA. Following their defeat in WWII with the help of two atomic bombs, they are than forced to acknowledge and accept that they are no in any way superior to any other countries, have limited and minimal military force as punishment for their brutality in both wars. Only which, they learn to be humble and accept all races and now able to hold their heads high as they work and fit in with the environment no matter how it changes and they will adapt accordingly, even if disasters strikes.

With every lost, comes the lesson to reflect and repent for their past actions, those will fail to reflect on their mistakes will only rot and wit away as others over take them when the time is ripe, opportunity cost is at their best and lowest casualty losses etc.

In a nut-shell, the next time you experience threats, just take it in your stride and move on. Only those who fail to capture the hearts of people winning the support will resort to such means to get the results they seek. Just be patient, wait for the right opportunity, and spot the weakness of your competitors and turn them into your strengths to emerge victorious. Only the weak will bow down to threats.

Resilience

posted by ryan

Resilience Picture

Resilience is simpler terms is to display a positive behavior adaptation to any upon encountering adversity, tragedy, threats and intense sense.

A display of global recognition and acknowledgment of resilience can be seen in Japan. It showcased and taught the world the importance of self-help and to the amazement of world whereby Japanese can still remain clam in such great magnitude of natural disasters that comes in a series of attacks. From a 8.9 magnitude of earthquake that triggers a tsunami causing greater damage adding to the death toll of many missing citizens in Japan. After which came the nuclear reactor explosion following the leakage of radio-active materials into the open sea.

Following is a video clip that featured Japanese helping one another in times of trouble, something that is first seen globally in times of distress.

Such a clip would not have been possible if not for the proper education of disaster training, rehearsal and the well-mannered culture of Japanese, helping one another in need.

On the other hand, when i looked looked and do up a search and similar natural disasters such as Christchurch, I happened to viewed a video that is kind of insensitive, http://www.nzherald.co.nz/christchurch-earthquake-videos/news/video.cfm?c_id=1503037&gal_cid=1503037&gallery_id=117784
featuring some people still playing in the disaster hit area instead of helping out. It’s so much reflects on the playfulness, laid back, relaxed culture of the nation, wanting to have the most fun out of which.

Japanese is the most well-taught people globally in terms of courtesy, manners, politeness etc, even number 1 nation USA is way behind in such education.

Singapore too is failing in the basic courtesy issues in the education sector, much different from the past whereby Singaporeans are helpful and chatty. The reasons that caused the dropped in Singaporeans speaking up, helping each other (neighbors) are probably due to the following reasons:

1. Fast pace developing city give little or no room for courtesy, manners upbringing having to cope with bilingual policy for competitive advantage

2. HDB Security policy of poor building designs, having neighbors doors literally facing each other, encourage us to close the doors permanently to avoid privacy being infringe despite government’s claim of it helping to reduce robberies, and other crimes.  Lets think it as another way, in the past, nearly every HDB door was opened (at least over 50% of the occupants open doors) in those old style 1 striaight line of HDB flats..while current designs are all C or U shape that encourage closed doors, so if doors are closed in nearly 95% of the HDB occupants, no eyes are visible to potential crimes. Having said that, sometimes, its better to stick to the old school, but being in a capitalist nation, it’s no longer possible, unless you have cash, yet govt are tearing down and rebuilding more C and U shape apartments that actually help improve crime rates from my own perspective (having lived in both old and new style HDB flat)

3. Government’s focus on financial growth over the basic principles of moral education in the past when I was growing up, where we were told to respect the elders, give way, give seats to elders or people who need it more than us..but these days..just one-look at how the primary, and secondary school education system, and the behaviors reflected by the students is freaking obvious. Immediate showing signs of ill-bred, uncouth kids who didn’t even know the basic respect, having to force them to obey the rules by punishment, which doesn’t solve the root of the problem, so to speak.

There are so much more lessons to which we can learn from Japan, both from their moral education, fast pace of economy power-house at least before the natural disasters took place that is.

It actually is easier to impart moral education from young with the right direction as reflected in the above video, than to teach grown up kids and adults moral education that seem useless and does not help in any way to grow their financial ability that is their main concern. But looking at the way education system is going..there’s nothing can be done..except for the “Fine” policies of Singapore to keep the rouge citizens from harming people, which is a waste of resources. Ignoring the basics, moral education has taken a impact on majority of the nations, not just Singapore alone.

The other thing to applause and salute Japanese is their selfless personality in general. Just when more and more nations are rejecting and closing her doors to Japanese food imports, Japanese themselves are showing their faith in their own food, so as to help reduce the strain on farmers in the nuclear radiation hit  zones by buying those food that’s considered at risk in other nations’ view.

There also have being new reports of shoppers purposely buying less amount of food so to allow other victims to buy food back home too, instead of what most people would do in disaster hit zones are to selfishly buy or even steal food for their own.

Such is a behavior that cannot be easily duplicated in any other countries due to the difference in education upbringing.

For businesses, it is a extremely important to learn and pick up lessons from Japan. If they can educate and impart such education to their employees, than the businesses will be saved when trouble strikes both the big and small companies, thus companies are still able to keep little sum of money from their own people’s support even if outsiders deny to trust them.

It is the key to determine the success or failure of any business.

Survival

posted by ryan

Survival is skill. It is the process of surviving unusual circumstances, dangerous situation or even natural disasters.  It is the techniques to provide basic necessities like food, water and shelter to get help.

Under certain conditions either as mention above or when chased out for a community, a person or any living organism will try their very best to live, that is a genetic system build in most of the living organisms in particular man.

In the documentary show on Okto “Is It Real: Federal Children”, it highlights different previous cases of children who were left in the care of animals, learning their language and some eventually landed up in mental institutions as their caregivers give up.

To survive and live on means to find food, water and shelter, it is already being programmed in our mind. Inside the mom’s womb, in the case of a twins, they will fight for survival in food and space, thus sometimes, moms give birth to twins of different size and weight due to food and space competition.

After birth, the mind is fine tuning the brain wires to learn and accept whatever knowledge and education in the crucial few months to first few years of life.

Before and after birth, the first few years are critical in picking up new skills and knowledge, in this documentary case example, it is the ability to learn and master human language since the federal children are being bought up by dogs, wolfs or relatives from the money family.

Brain is a wonderful organ, which can also rewire itself to adapt to changes which explains why people either upgrade or downgrade themselves in terms in intellectual wisdom and behavior by mixing and learning from the group of people they hang around with.

A person who once experienced a accident, causing bones fracture and damage to the brain thus during the healing process, the body needs to relearn how to walk in road accidents cases. This is when the brain will retune and rewire itself to adapt to learn new things unless that particular learning section of the brain is damaged.

Before I side track too much, lets get back to the topic on survival, as it suggest, our brain are programmed to seek for necessity to give us food, water and shelter. In particular to shelter, this covers the area of attention, care and concern which is just being discussed briefly in the show which I will write more in depth about it.

Shelter to my understanding thanks to the documentary show is defined by care and concern being showered to a infant/child by showing love and attention. When this attention and love is missing from the equation, which maybe a result of abusive parents or lack of attention from both working parents, it will lead to more complications which we see in Singapore these days which is sexual related problems.

Sex itself covers a wide array of topics. The core fundamentals of sex boils down to love and attention, when people will start searching for love and attention from whatever source available which will give us what we seek thus the reason why these days, boys and girls often get into boy-girl relationship.

Reason is simple, to compensate for the lack of attention and love from their caregivers who are their parents, grandparents or relatives and adoptive parents.

Children are being neglected due to intensive global competition for money which converts to bread and bacon for the family thus parents as care-givers have no choice but to seek employment for income to bring the bread and bacon back home.

Looking at the perspective of adults and parents, they are not wrong, and it is their mind, the already programmed system to seek for food, which comes from work to get money thus sexual related problems which we have in Singapore and in other countries is a global problem and is not exclusively to a country.

It is the basis of survival, in order to tackle the problem of sexual related issues, we need to go back to the basics, provide attention and love to the children which are near impossible given the competition from both local and foreign talents for the same piece of pie.

There are many ways to go about and provide a solution to sexual related issues to cut the roots of the problem, but that I will keep it secret till the time for me to offer it as a business product and services for the solution.

If you who is reading this post is a parent, try your best not to neglect your children else problems will gradually crept up to you for your ignorance and those problems will only show up when your children grows up. So if you know the cause already from my post, start showing more attention and love to your children.

Work towards having a blissful family which will solve the root of the problem.

Identity

posted by ryan

Identity is the sense of self, providing sameness and or likeness. It is the individuality, personality, distinctness, uniqueness of oneself which makes everyone of us different.

Within a country, there should be a unique country identity, but thanks to globalizing, this identity of a country has being infused with other countries identity and is no longer unique to own country with the exception of some countries.

China, Korea, Russia, India, Thailand, Malaysia, United States of America, European countries each have their own unique identity as a country and it is shared by all of the citizens.

They embrace and honor their respective nation identity, culture, values and beliefs in the form of religion and have faith in what their nation belief in.

Singapore on the other hand, is on the verge of losing our own unique Singapore identity. Gone are the days of the kampong spirit, friendliness. The present us, are all confine and closed up thanks to the lack of privacy in home designs thus neighbours close doors and contribute largely to what we have today, employees who do and not talk thus it is more like a mundane life as compared to the past.

Being a garden city in the past, with such large investments from overseas companies, are we losing our identity? Where is the garden city? It is becoming more and more like a city of another developed nation with nothing more than commercial buildings, earning profits etc.
Not much focus has to thrown on religion, culture, which is our strength but all this is under valued in terms of commercial profits. We are losing our multi-racial identity which to globalization and losing it to just commercial purpose.

What does Singapore has to offer to tourist? There’s nothing unique of Singapore if it doesn’t focus on your multi religion identity and the ability to work, trust each other regardless of race, language, religion or culture. We allow cooperation and helping one another, but obviously this is what is lacking.

Tourist are paying money just to see what they can find in other countries, Formula One race track, casinos, buildings, all these are just solely for commercial and tax benefits only with no unique identity for Singaporeans. Are we duplicating other countries success at the expense of losing our own unique Singaporean identity which cannot be duplicated in any other countries for obvious reasons?

It is an expensive identity that we are losing and it is heavily neglected and thus giving tourist more reasons to by-pass Singapore if we were to continue with whatever the decisions the tourism industry is thinking.

Even cultural identity is losing, why the local religion and culture are losing to religions thanks colonization during war times. The focus should be local religion and there we have so many locally born Singaporeans embracing religion from overseas. It should be the Singapore Experience and not something which can be seen, duplicated in any part of the world. Fatal mistake!!

Investments should be pumped into showcasing Singapore’s rich
bio-diversity of various religions and cultures staying to our roots.

It is the relationship which we are bonded to by birth which we should stick to and not to embrace other countries identity like what majority of people are converting to other religions from our own roots.

Discrimination

posted by ryan

Discrimination is to show hostile signs towards an individual belonging to a group of religion, country and preface. It is the treatment taken towards or against a person of a certain group in consideration based solely on class or category. It is distinct in favor of or against a person.

The world most serious and damaging discrimination type will be racial discrimination. Since the age of time, it is born inside us to show favoritism towards an individual, a group whom we like regardless of whether there is any benefits laid out on the table for discussion to help one another.

It is a world that all countries and politicians want to avoid most and will try any cost to not discuss it. In the global nations, this problem still exist but nobody wants to face the music thus they are who they are right now having to face the same problem which they give to the blacks and yellow.

Now that the whites are trying to capture a market share of the rising dragon, than only did they realize the difficulty of racial discrimination, something which they are now complaining and making a big deal out of something which is so minor and can be ignore in fact.

Even fellow yellow skin people from local nations are suffering high business casualty rates of ninety percent, with only one success for every ten ventures, than what give the white the rights to even say that the rising dragons are making it difficult for them to do business in that country?

The way Singapore and China works differently, Singapore being a flexible and adaptable to multiple chances thanks to the multi-racial religion which makes it easy thus no racial discrimination and biasness doing business here in Singapore nor do we apply any culture from any religion.

But it is a whole new different story in China, even Singaporeans find it difficult to understand their culture let alone be successful in China, what rights to the Whites in particular USA can complain of China that they are making it difficult for them to do business?

Look at the most recent China Premier Wen JiaBao press release interview and he explained about what had actually happened during the Copenhagen Event and why he send a low rank minister to attend the meeting as broadcast in Channel News Asia LIVE. The next day, USA has nothing to say and there came up a news article with ‘arrogant’ in one of the headlines.

Look at that, so who is the devil? What goes around comes around, if you don’t want this to happen to you, than don’t even make life difficult for the others in the first place.

The key to doing bilateral business globally is not to walk the talk using office politics which will not work in global stage, but rather understanding the culture differences which no businessmen has yet to succeed in doing that to date.

To succeed in China means to be a foreigner making billions thus to be considered as successful, but to date there is none, because only locals understand the culture.

Stop finger-pointing and start reflecting. Look at the mirror and ask yourself what are you doing that is wrong.
