Irony

posted by ryan

Ironic image

Irony is a rhetoric device, a language and technique speaker use to the convey to the listener or reader a meaning with a goal persuading him or her towards considering a topic from a different perspective as written in Wikipedia.

The goal of rhetoric is to persuade towards a particular frame of view or a particular course of action, so appropriate rhetorical devices are used to construct sentences designed both to make the audience receptive through emotional changes and to provide a rational argument for the frame of view or course of action.

There are many examples of ironic life activities with the intention of promoting the crowd of people/clients into agreeing and patronizing their business and services with the use of rhetoric device to persuade via convincing prospective clients into buying their products and services. Looking deeper, beyond their sales pitch, presentation and agenda, it is clear that there are many businesses that are employing such strategy to increase their sales and profits with or without their knowledge that they are using such a strategy.

Examples are as follows:

1. The use of modern drugs, surgeries prescribed, and recommended by hospitals, clinics respectively are actually in fact to the benefit of the employees, business investors, shareholders at the expense of the patients.

It is general knowledge that all drugs have side effects, thus they are not recommended to take in large doses. Nor are surgeries guaranteed to help patients get rid of whatever illness that requires a surgery, doctors capitalizing on patients lack of knowledge, thus promoting instant quick fix and protecting themselves with legal document against any resurface of illness and against any guarantee that the illness has completely being eliminated. So either way, doctors, business investors of such health practice profits.

With more medicine (synthetic drugs) made of chemicals that only weakens the body, long term dependence on such drugs make the problem worse, thus the business grows.

Why not consider Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with over five thousand years of history, look at the organization running the business, are they anywhere near as rich as hospitals in any parts of the world? No they are not in anyway near their wealth nor profits. Reason is simple, they care for the interest for their patients and making only a modest, minimum margin on the products (herbs) without the intention to have their patients being over dependence on TCM, that’s real moral and ethical business operations with lots of integrity.

2. Financial organizations promoting investment projects, portfolio for potential clients to invest in to grow their wealth. But yet banks themselves don’t invest in the very projects that they recommend to their very own clients.

Is it foolish or is it plain stupidity that clients who trust their money with banks recommended choice of investments are never able to earn on similar percentage of that banks gets on return on investments. Banks are using clients money to grow their wealth and protecting themselves against any potential scam or loss on investment with legal documents, again as usual captializing on clients lack of knowledge.

Organizations on the other hand depend on smart and talented individuals to spot opportunities to grow the portfolio, and run risk of employees running away with scams, frauds at the business expanses, a fact of crimes (both big and small cases) that never fails to be reported globally of new cases annually.

3. Businesses all over the world has this common saying: If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. Why would they want to say this and constant remind people, who are their clients, solely because of maintain and encouraging clients loyalty to the business for their own profits and interest.

Yet it is a fact that every single person living in a modern society knows that we must keep up growing, get more pay, improve our own living conditions. That translates to always improve and fix any unbroken parts for better performance and efficiency. Yet some people will wonder, why is there such a saying like that?

Over time, i come to realize that it is a strategy used by business owners, investors to persuade potential clients/partners from turning against them, the only reason that saying is regularly used in advertisements, are indirectly saying, continue using whatever products you are still in your procession and don’t switch to other brands. This way, it becomes clear that the saying is to fight of potential competition that will threaten their profits and market share.

4. Employment. It is widely practiced and strongly recommended by every single country globally to find a job and work than retire. But looking deeper, do we get better pay, regular salary increment on yearly basis? No, it is not always true especially in those employees hired in the private sector primarily the food and beverage industry, tourism, customer service niches.

Occupations that does not help grow the business often are not given salary increase, the only time they increase are probably to to competition for talented employees, if not forced upon by respective governments governing the countries to fight against inflation. Again, there is a saying, work hard, save money and retire to live a happy life after which. But look at present times, Singapore is no longer encouraging retirement, it is out of the government’s dictionary for good, it’s more like work until you can’t work. All the benefits of a low unemployment only adds up to the yearly salary increase of the government politicians, ministers, parliament members etc. Are we working towards a happier life or are we working so hard just to serve only the top people enjoying the fruits of our labour at our own expense.

Done with the examples, now that its time to put on a thinking cap and help each other succeed, only by helping others, you are helping yourself. A similarity within the differences in the examples that I have talked about in the above four examples.

The society is full of lies and deception meant to keep us the way we are so as to profit at our expense, the only way to outsmart them is to learn what tricks they are up to.

Moving forward, employment isn’t the way out. Entrepreneurship is the only way out. As businesses help to provide value and convenience to the clients who in return pay for the products and services that will help respective clients earn more money, have better standards of living..that’s what the whole world should work towards in fact, and at the same time promoting peace, mutual understanding, sharing and coexist together for a sustainable future.

Negotiation

Negotiation Picture

Negotiation is to have a dialogue or discussion to gain an advantage outcome between two or more parties.

In every day life, negotiation is pretty simple, just plain talking, differentiating the pros and cons and reaching a conclusion with a win-win situation.

But in a business negotiation, it is somehow different. in which the prospective client wants results, immediate measurable results, data that can increase their sales. It is to examine and bring to the table of discussion on he/she can help grow the business.

Looking back at my past negotiation experiences, including of my most recent negotiation that just took place today in the afternoon, i realize there’s an important part in backing up your claims with your past activities. That proof of  you knowing exactly what you’re doing, and never to fake what you don’t know, honesty and sincerity are bonuses to increase the odd of another discussion in attempt to close a deal.

Having said that, I was also surprised that whatever materials I prepared wasn’t being looked at, instead, 98% of the session, it’s all about mutual understanding, knowing how to help each other by openly discussion of the compensation plan for the collaboration.

Today, perhaps I was lucky to be facing a friendly prospect who to are kind enough to listen and clarify what both sides can bring to the table. Thank god, i went into entrepreneurship, learning a valuable lesson today.

Another thing that i was surprised was that they welcome and was happy to do learn that i have met up with failure before thus it increases my odds of success. Something that non-business owners will not like to know, i think I’m starting to like the game of doing business, entrepreneurship.

No doubt it’s difficult, but it’s fun. Lol.. Glad that I made the decision to start my company and find clients. Valuable lessons that cannot be taught anywhere in school except in actual business discussion.

“Love what you do, and treat all difficulties like tonic to fuel your learning curve towards success” – That’s what i would sum up in this whole post.

Learning

posted by ryan

Learning is a process.

It is a continuous process. Once you stop learning, you put yourself at risk of being eliminated.

To avoid elimination, is to learn the survival skills and use it to the fullest and show coupled with wisdom, intellectual use of strategies to expand territory or niche and grow wealth.

It is the root of all success. It’s like a plant, without water, the plant will withered, and die off slowly and in a ugly state slowly rotting, decomposing into the soil as fertilizer for the others. Put this plant in a forest, and it becomes the nutrition for other plants, insects etc.

Just like the forest, or in the ocean, there is a ecosystem. Where everything, birth, growth and even death helps the ecosystem to live better and brighter with nothing but beauty.Even in the world of modern cilivlizations, it remains the same like anywhere else on earth. There’s an system and order on how we live.

While there’s an abundance of educational institutes both locally and globally, not many individuals will be able to utilize all the skills, knowledge taught to them in their lives. Having said that, how many Masters, Doctorates of different universities actually make it to become a Professor respected, and using the skills, knowldge for the good of man-kind in invention and research of better medicine, cure for illnesses etc. Not many to be precise.

But I can say that much of what is required for basic living, the skills needed for survival is simply what’s taught in elementary schools and colleges. Anything beyond that are considered bonuses.

To live, survive and grow out wealth, we only need to learn what’s needed to bring in money, that means the ability to sell and market products and services, growing a business. Bringing food to the table and supporting a family. It is a rather simple idea, while many choose not to learn the art of selling and marketing, they themselves are denying themselves of money and potential wealth that comes only after they have mastered the basics of selling and differentiating it from marketing.

Selling is the process, a transaction made over an exchange of product, service in exchange for money.

Marketing on the other hand is to offer value, benefits for instant, and future growth. Both directly and indirectly contributing to more money income which means wealth.

Wealth is money that grows over time despite factoring in inflation. Money is simply a note that depreciates with time and has no actual value as it is at risk of inflation, dependent on external economic factors and country’s bank, gold reserves.

While we all start learning, how many people out there really understand why do they need to learn, get educated? No many even asked, yet just go through the motion, in short copying what the seniors/elders taught them. As it is a genetic trait of all living beings, from organisms, to plants, insects, animals inclusive of hunans.

But with our advanced, developed brain, not much have being put to proper use. Most are still very much the same like the apes in the jungle or forest, learning how to survive, bring food back to the family, working to own a property for shelter and give birth to off-springs that’s considered an natural ecosystem.

While only those who seek wealth, actually utilize their brains and put it to good use. Learning what grows wealth, build on success, portfoilos, to diplomatically increase their assets (territory) both locally and globally. Without copying apes, to fight it out in the jungle for food and space, by offering mutually beneficial agreements and exchange thus growing without limits.

That’s what learning should be about, and not like the ordinary education system, teaching man to be employees. I can’t help but wonder as I watch more documentaries. Why do we even need to study all the way up to universities these days when all it can provide us with is a job that brings in money.

Yet money is what every one can start earning the moment they know how to trade their services for money as young as 5 years old to 15yrs old depending on different countries acceptance to entrepreneurship.

Are apes smarter, with only un-developed brain who are our grand ancestors, what we are doing now, study, work and die is just the same like apes. So who’s smarter? Why get into debts just to be employees trapped in a rats’ race?

Only those who understand, learned and master the art of sales and marketing knows how to utilize the brain to grow wealth and help other man-kind to improve their living conditions.

Employment is an excellent way of learning the ropes of business, the only way out for success. Learn, observe and ask, build diplomatic ties, relationships and don’t burn your bridges by being nasty to your colleagues to lay a good future ahead. Yet not many realized that entrepreneurship starts from employment and individuals must have a clear understanding of what they must learn, what should be learn to improve the business, before leaving to start their own business elsewhere without poaching your mentor’s clients to allow oneself to grow up stronger with respect from their peers.

In a nut-shell, it is to learn to respect the cycle of life, example of how important water is to all living beings. The same applies to food, for survival and learning to improve our living conditions, not to follow what’s already in place. Else what’s the point of education? Ain’t it meant to make us intelligent, yet many are getting stupider without putting on their thinking cap..

Wealth

posted by ryan

Wealth

Wealth is what everybody seeks. The abundance of resources, possessions, and assets.

While many seek wealth, they confuse it with money.

Money should be viewed as a tool rather than a measure of status.

While majority of the people globally all focus on earning money to make it rich, succeed in life, only the top of the corp, those who really understand the meaning of wealth, success can achieve it.

The reason why majority failed to get rich is properly due to a simple reason, they spend more than what they earn. Simple fact, but many choose to ignore this fact, and instead adopt another practice or belief, learn how to earn more money to cover up what you spend. That’s what most people are doing, digging multiple holes (traps) of financial difficulty only to refill one hole at a time while digging many holes simultaneously.

Real life case study is when people take up installments to buy property, furniture, vehicles, education loan, investment loan etc.. All involved loan while trying to get rich, having said that, that’s the worst situation that a wealthy person would do.

While many wonder what do we need to do to get wealthy. That most people wouldn’t even think about it, because those are the things that aren’t taught in school, nobody will teach others how to get rich, which in other words put oneself at more risk of competition for investments to grow own asset port-foilo, thus all schools globally only teach students how to be employees, even those teaching entrepreneurship modules, degrees are taught by professors who are knowledgeable only in theory with no physical actual experience. So at the end of the day, are degrees really that important if a person really want to succeed and make it wealthy?

Apparently not, the simplest and idiot proof method to be wealthy is first to understand what is the difference between money and wealth, what are the problems associated with money, greedy, discipline, management, investing, growing money and even finding sponsors. All of which are the important steps vital to understanding the real definition of wealth before even one can have the mental capability to sustain wealth in assets, cashflow, and managing it.

Most speakers, successful individuals only spoke and share about the importance of business ideas, but they didn’t share or mention much about the basics, thus majority are taught the advanced skills, knowledge without the basics. It’s like building castles in the air, without proper pillars as support, just a wind, flood, or fire (natural disaster) is enough to pluck out and demolish the whole building of its location into rumbles and trash.

That’s why the rich get richer, while the poor gets poorer. Only those who get it will be wealthy. Not even those smart-aleck are able to conceal or hide their tails for long, as financial crisis or global or region wide happens every 10-12 years, so it is like a circle. Only the real deal stays for the long term.

Having said that, the key to creating wealth is to bring value to the masses. Without value, there’s no room for growth.

So if you get what I’m saying, it is best for you to start working in different industry, get a clear idea of how money flows from one hand to another before switching to another industry to increase your learning growth, physically experience of business operation, running, and training employees beats education, theories taught in schools.

If you’re a parent, or soon-to-make, make it a point to throw your kids to get doing business, or at least let them earn their own money to buy the things they want themselves, and not you paying it for them. Vital to let them learn and understand how difficult it is to earn that money, so this is a life lesson that will help you in many years down to the road. Stopping your kids growing up dependent on you for their living, nor to suck your financial reserves dry. That’s long-term thinking, and at the same time, showing the kids how to take up responsibility and running a family.

When a person learns the importance of money, than only will they gradually see the light at the end of the tunnel in knowing real wealth before able to start creating wealth.

If you don’t believe it, read up or start observing how people get poorer. Especially those who struck lottery. Lucky individuals globally with no knowledge of managing money, assets will only see their money depleting day by day. After a few years, they are back to square one, in the same situation before they strike lottery.

Survival

posted by ryan

Survival is the best bet against anything in the world.

Having watched documentary of the week: Surviving Disaster – Avalanche, it gave me new insights and reminder to on survival and the basic guidelines and principles to live. Linking it up with what I myself experienced on my progress in Entrepreneurship, it gave me a actual blueprint on surviving the hardships of entrepreneurship.

I’ll just summarized what i’ve just learned and convert it to make it business-proof.

In an ski trip with an injured ski-mate with a open bone fracture, and with a handful of team mates, with night approaching, the best bet is to set up a snow cave to spend the night waiting for day light before attempting to find help.

Check for any injuries, in this case, it’s a open bone fracture, cover the open wound with clean cloth to prevent infection, without pressing on the bone, put it on top of it, break the ski stick in the correct length and tie the leg tight against the sticks to prevent anymore movement. Lay person on a ski board, move injured head downwards with leg on top. So in event of hitting an object, wound will not incur any additional damage, with head protected by helmet. With sun setting, it’s time to build a snow cave for the night.

Snow Cave

The snow cave allows all ski members a safety cover from the elements, shelter from the wind (which speed up heat lost), allows members to stay together to have the warm air in the cave stay there while the cold air drops to the entrance.

Once the cave is built, immediately move the injured team mate inside, as motionless individual stand greater chance of hypothermia. Lay the injured person on the, while other ski members take turns to take care of each other. Giving the injured as much food as possible to encourage more heat generated, but don’t let injured drink alcohol which speeds up hypothermia. One person in-charge of the injured, another in-charge of keeping the entrance partial open for air to come in, the other one to check for every team member’s health status (preventing death sleep in the cold), and rotate duties every hour.

Next day comes, day-break, leave behind the slowest team mate to take care of the injured in the snow cave while the rest seek help.Member staying behind uses urine and ski board to mark a clear X (cross) sign on the top of the mountain while the rest find help (instead of all waiting to die).

In the process, downwards, they faced an avalanche, 2 team mates trapped in it. Using avalanche survival kit to track (20 yards effective radius) members trapped under the snow and dig them out of it before they die of suffocation and hypothermia. Moving in a zig-zag direction to cover the whole distance of the avalanche path.

Upon finding trapped member, dig up, and wait for help, use binoculars to reflect light to the helicopter, and create a landing zone (L.Z) preferrably on a flat surface. Wait for the search and rescue dogs to search for team mate who’s survival kit was not placed with him, and instead a bag further putting oneself in danger.

Than inform the rescue team about the injured at the top of the mountain.

Now for the entrepreneur conversion. The food is the important fuel that allows members to live, in business wise, minimal food to fill our stomach.

Put aside emotions, which is vital for wealth creation, follow and obey leaders who can grow money, not reduce it.

Follow all basic ethics and the laws to observe discipline, so you will not have your efforts gone down the drain one day when you’re caught for any crime.

The snow cave refers to a shelter over our head as a protection.

Team members: Select only a handful who will not put you at more risk. Example: spilling your business secrets/strategies, waste your resources, burn bridges of trust, creditability and reputation critical for success.

Search and rescue team refers to new sources of income when your financial reserves are depleting fast. Seeking help is not a sign of failure, it is to live to die another day.

Proper medical, survival knowledge with experienced leader: Vital in a process, to tell exactly what’s happening, what will happen and how to minimize risk of failure and look out for safety.

PS: In ski, dangers are bears, elements of cold, but in business, it’s the eagles and vultures, seasoned players who gradually/openly steal your strategies, food, business partners, networks and turn them against you!

So weigh your own skills set, financial reserves, networks, expertise, knowledge and flexibility to adapt to new changes, such as temporary going back to employment to first solve the fundamental money issue before you resume your entrepreneurship.

Last but not the least, be damn aware of your own surroundings, keep your strategies and wealth generation sources to yourself. In the absence of team mates, depend on yourself and your own resources.

Never ever give in to opposition of your family and love ones (that’s logical) knowing they will want to be in the rats race suffering together for a short-term most risky employment without any job security.

Execution

posted by ryan

Execution is the number one step which all entrepreneurs must do in order to have any results regardless of positive or negative.

Only with the results can they measure, plan and carry out the next course of action or if there is any minor/major corrections to rectify in fixing a soltuion.

Over the past few months of absence, somehow I realized and learn this very basic step to be a simple yet profound meaning in a simple word.

Months of absence from blogging gives room for thoughts to fly in my brain, and with the help of decreasing financial capabilities forcing me to finally put down the first step in uploading and fine tuning my website for commercial purpose.

Unlike this blog, http://www.mlmclassroom.org will be primarily serving the commercial aspect.

Creating, writing, editing the contents of the website is not a simple step. It takes numerous uploading, editing, overwriting to ensure every single html code in the website is correct.

Entrepreneurship is a difficult route, but a route worthy of its risk and gains. Riches are made in adversity and I choose this particular niche due to a simple reason, no academic qualification required and success are best enjoyed and shared with the messes.

Making money is one thing, enjoying the fruits of the labor is another thing. The common lonely celebration which affluent individuals face, no real friends or buddies to celebrate success with thus direct selling makes it a good platform for ordinary folks like you and me to have a platform to change for the better without interviewing.

As long as oneself is committed to success, it will come to you if you start off direct selling with the right intention, ethics and responsibility.

Direct selling which is also know as Multi-Level Marketing, Network Marketing, Referral Marketing is both an employment as well as a business opportunity for the poor to get rich and wealthy if they make the right choice to change for the better and succeed.

We cannot control where we are born in, but we can control where our children are born in, the environment, financial status etc. It all boils down to making the right decision.

Change II

posted by ryan

Change is the transformation of a something to another thing. What works in the past may not necessary work in the present.  It is the substitution and replacement as time pass.

Getting updated and following the trends and fads especially when doing business. Businesses are constantly evolving in order to stay ahead and above the competition to remain as the market leader for the more competitive industries.

Businesses that don’t come up with new products will be left behind in the dust before they even know it. Growing up, be it individual from being physically to as an entity of a company, all are constantly changing to meet the demand required of it.

Business owners especially in the fashion are exceptionally updated and must follow the trends else risked being outdated in less than a year as fashion trends become fads shedding its old appeal and living in a new skin like a snake crawling out of its old skin.

People also change every second as we grow; our body goes through the physical and mental changes in different situations we must adapt and blend into what is required of us in the environment to survive in the terrain.

Over the last few weeks of absence from blogging, there are quite a few lessons which I’ve learnt, the most important is change, don’t be resistant to change, and else there will be no new fresh ideas. Change rules and principles if there is a need, being inflexible will increase the frustration and unhappiness thus killing our brain cells and that kills our creativity needed for survival which leads to risking being outdated leading to poverty in worst case scenario.

In the past, I blog from home without work now I blog from office at work. I can say that I’m lucky to be hired and still able to continue doing what I like, internet marketing and more importantly getting paid to do what I like.

Success is guaranteed as long as you don’t give up, sure enough, it’s the truth and I tested it out on myself.

During the past few months, I was work from home, without income, entrepreneurship seems like an uphill task, but after sticking to what I believe in, accepting no other employment except internet marketing, I’ve found this current employment which allows me to use other people’s money and resources to continue whatever I’m doing. In fact, I’m learning new things with regards to internet marketing and learning the differences of internet marketers.

The crucial lesson which I’ve learnt over these past few months about entrepreneurship is that in order to succeed, there must be a continuous stream/source of financial means to support the starting up process so as to create a model which works for respective individuals, and that requires time, effort, creativity and money.

Ignore money, and nothing will be possible. But don’t look at money as extremely important; it is just part of the formula required for success. Have the right principles on money before you think about getting rich. Else should you start on the wrong footing, when you get rich than start learning about money management, it will be too late.

Should you be receiving high income, you will also have difficulty managing your finances, and with not much savings as reported by Straits Time recently as shown in  http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_529522.html That is another topic which I’ll write another day.

Opportunity II

posted by ryan

Opportunity is a topic which I may have written earlier, but this time this is on a rather different segment. This blog post will talk more about the importance or rather the crucial and in fact critical moment for success.

As I’m writing this blog post, believe it or not, I am racing against time and my notebook, a five year old Fujistu Laptop Model S2020, with a loose adapter that will run out of power anything due to old battery and over-used adapter or I presume the socket is faulty since the adapter was purchased and replaced with a new one just less than two years back.

Over the next few weeks, I will be blogging less, due to the technical problems which I’m facing and I will turn fault into opportunity like what Henry Fault said: Don’t find a fault, find a solution. So by that it means, I will try to be less dependent on this notebook, taking my product creation, a total not less than five books which I have already decided on the title, chapters already and will be writing them in my book by hand instead of using my notebook.

I’m not complaining, but this blog post is just to allow readers who are regular readers of my blog to understand the situation which I am in currently. Thanks for your encouragement in continuing to come back to my blog to read. I will try the best of my limits to blog if my notebook is cooperative with me as I’m at the mercy of my notebook in fact as my notebook is giving up on me already..

Once I complete my books and have them sold off the shelves, I will come back stronger and a winning formula on another topic with lots of tips on how to survive days without modern technology and getting back to the traditional methods of product creation.

Thanks for the loyal readers.

If there’s anybody who may want to help me out with my situation, the amount I need to get back online 100% will be a cheque of SGD $4000.

The person who is willing to sponsor me this amount will get rewarded. No details will be posted as I don’t want to be appearing to be selling my products and services since I have being trying to offer free advices via blogging.

Only genuine sponsor are welcome to help me, no questions asked in the process, and leave your contact behind so I can repay/return the favor of gratitude to whoever is the sponsor. I just need a SGD$4,000 cheque to my bank. Thank You, (just contact me via my contact page and I’ll reply as soon as I can come online.

It would be best to get a sponsor but I’ll try my best to buy myself whatever I need, it’s a hard and difficult route ahead without going online, but I will work out the details.

I just need a investor who will be willing to make a investment of just SGD4,000 in me.

Kindly come back and read more blog posts when I’m back online with a new notebook of my choice.

Thank you.

The route to entrepreneurship, solving problems starts now.

Change

posted by ryan

Change is the transformation from something to another thing. It is to become different, pass gradually into something else.

Since the time men started roam the earth, we underwent lots of changes to who we are today. With different nationalities language, tribes and religions we all still come from the same roots and origins, from the monkey family.

Fast forward to present, and staying local in Singapore, this nation has underwent so much changes that the kampong days are long gone, even the friendly neighbourhood atmosphere is already gone, no longer do neighbours know one another among the community. When I was young around 1980s to 1990s, the community bonding and unity was slowly fading away as I grow up while Singapore keeps changing and improving.

Lives 1990s was definitely way much better than 1950s that period, but looking at the present bonding of Singaporeans among different races, Singapore in fact has gone worse. Back than, even my grandma knows Malay and now those local Singaporean Chinese who knows Malay language is the minority with Malaysian Chinese taking away our advantage in language proficiency.

In the past, everybody knows a bit of other language here and there, even Indians know Chinese, but that’s is the super minority.

These days, with the housing development planning, the layout of the houses are pleasant taking into considerations for limited land, but gone are our privacy, with doors shut, the friendly neighbours atmosphere is long gone.

People who used to be able to work until fifty years old and retire for a blissful family, is already gone without a trace, the possibility of it is gone permanently. No longer can we grow up looking forward to retirement, in fact we will work till the date we die, that’s how the way we are growing, and this problem is not subjected to only Singapore but all over the world. Any capitalist country will face this issue.

Just that Singapore with limited resources is showing the negative effects of capitalism society faster than our neighbouring countries because they still have land, religion and culture to fall back on thus they will not face this problem so fast but gradually, they are feeling it.

Taiwan is also losing its tribe practice and people are going to cities for a living, like wise for India and other countries. But somehow thanks to its strong unity and government space for religion practice, they are still going strong with their Chinese culture and proud of it, unlike Singapore, even for our own four different religions, we also have the public holidays reduced, no longer greatly celebrating it but it has downsized so much that it becomes more like a yearly commercial event rather than festive celebrations doing only a yearly routine with no heart put into it. It’s a festival without the soul, bonding and unity in it. How I envy countries with such rich festival celebrations.

Singapore although has lost the festival bonding among people, but it has gain something else in return to compensate for its culture losses which is financial industry and is often said that Singapore is the window to China, nonetheless that comes with a great price of sacrifice.

Hard work, always increasing work load, only more and no less, work load increase is way much faster than the speed whereby our pay increases, thus we are getting poorer and poorer. Just look at the working age and ask yourself if you can even retire and enjoy a blissful family, never ever if you follow the majority. It’s just the facts.

Should we want to reverse the effects, we should pick up entrepreneurship, in particular allowing ourselves more time to spend with family, encouraging a family and work-life balance, so as to have more births per family, thus tax will not increase. Financial insiders or those who at least study bits of history will know why birth rates has links to tax.

What we deserve, we got to earn it, and to do it, we have to find our way. Singapore is growing and improving, but not the people, majority of the people are still staying in a poor mindset thus making Singapore government job of running the country increasing harder having to cope with the silver tsunami many years ahead which is slowly revealing the tip of the ice berg already. We are just another country one step slower than Japan only.

We earn what we keep, and we got to defend our homeland from foreigners, lower our demands for foreign talents, in order to do that, we have to increase our own competitive advantage so as to reduce our reliance on them.

The easiest way to do so is to do our own business, and offer employments to fellow Singaporeans by helping Singaporeans earn their own keep. Entrepreneurship is the only way to go about, don’t look at it as purely business, you can go into entertainment, science, invention, financial related or even sales and service, it is not restricted to only business. Abandon

posted by ryan

Abandon is to leave completely; forsake utterly; dessert; to give up, discontinue and withdraw from. Most of will naturally come to think of abandon ship. It is a natural instinct of survival.

It is the most decisive decision which everyone will have to make in order for survival, especially when lives are at risk. No body will want to sink down together with the ship.

In marriage, divorce happens when either one of the party refused to give in or change the negative habit example gambling, thus most wives leave the family for a better life on her own outside resulting in broken family.

In business, partners will abandon each other in times of trouble. That is when business fall into pieces. Companies will fire any unproductive or under performing employees to reduce overheads. It is not harsh, it is just the natural law of survival, thus unemployment issue is always there in every single country without fail.

Survival is about the sacrifice of a person for the purpose of allowing more people to survive thus abandonment is always happening around us.

In the rich and poor example, especially in families, rich, wealthy and successful people isolate and distant themselves from their poor unproductive family members purely for survival, and it is not at all cruel. It’s just facts.

In the process of entrepreneurship, such people already have tried their ways to convince, and encourage their close ones to change and work hand in hand together with them, but if they always end up in disagreement and unhappiness, there is no way both parties can come to a conclusion especially when it comes to financial planning and budgeting issue, thus poor and rich will always have a clear line separating them, because of the clear distinct difference in financial knowledge and understanding.
