To be an entrepreneur, one has to understand the restrictions and limitations of the environment which the individual is situated in an environment/space.
Restrictions mean what the law prohibits you to do from your environment. Example there’re certain laws to follow when you rent an office, work from home or own a own factory etc.
Get a copy of latest up to date law from the government or speak to your lawyer for a clear insights on what you can do and what you can’t do in order to save money on being sued for going against the law of any respective country which you’re living in.
If your budget doesn’t allows you to engage a lawyer and it’s definitely out of the question, than get to know friends whom have already done similar businesses or tried starting a business, get to know them, ask them for their learning experiences. Don’t do it directly, make friend first, than slowly probe, this way you will get to learn the details instead of them telling you the general must know and don’t tell you what you Die-Die Must Know to save yourself in financially to prevent you brushing against the law.
Limitations means that you need to understand what you have on hand. What you can work with currently without having to seek external help be it financially, manpower or specialists with specific skills in order to start a business.
Ask yourself, What Skills you have. Who can you offer your help to? Why should they buy your idea? Where can you base yourself to offer your products and services at the present moment? When do you step in and offer your help to the target audience (your desired clients/customers)? How will this benefit your potential clients and the people around them and of course you yourself.
Ask yourself what soft skills are you equipped with. What are the experiences which you have that can be made useful and help people to solve common day-to-day problems.
For complete starters who are clueless, first ask yourself what is your passion. Is there anything which interest you to the extent that you need not necessary benefit from helping people in terms of money and is willing to help people without expecting to get any benefits in return for the effort which you have committed and put in.
If you have any, than congrats, you have found something which is your passion. Keep this in mind, record it down somewhere, and state your reason why this is something which you want to do without thinking of the making any money from it.
Once you have done this, place it somewhere easily accessible and viewable to remind yourself of your true intentions from the bottom of your heart before we proceed to brainstorming for ways to monetize your passion later on after I have talked about all those important fundamentals which must be addressed before going into the entrepreneurship whereas the money talks comes into play. Do remind me again in future when I talk about monetizing from passion.
