Habit

Habit, is an acquired behavior pattern which we learn since birth or maybe even when we are already inside the mother’s womb.

We are what are learn the moment our live starts. We are influenced by the education that is imparted to us by our parents, caretakers and teachers. How we think, react and response depends on what we learn by observation with family and friends.

Example: A family of four, dad, mom, brother and a younger sister. Both the kids grow up in a violent family filled with arguments and fighting, than the kids will grow up to be an similar if not identical duplicate like their parents, who could only teach they what they know, which is the cause for more and more families in poverty, much faster than the rate of people climbing up the social ladder becoming influential and wealthy.

We are the result of our own habits which we picked up as we grow up. Our results of way which we live are limited to what we know thus the same problems e.g.: violence can’t be solved by just reducing the problem from the surface. It should be removed from the root, the upbringing and likewise for majority if not all of the other problems which we are facing presently and problems which will be surfacing in future.

Habits lead to behavior, and behavior is a result of our upbringing and the values imparted to us as we grow which is directly associated and limited to the people who we learn from.

Habits = Behavior = Results of upbringing

The next time you want to improve and upgrade yourself, learn from someone you look up to or aspire to be. Network around, read and learn more information about the person and how he/she thinks, does things and carry him/herself in functions, events etc.

Duplicate and model after your desired role-model and one day you will be like them with time and effort.
