In the most last few recent episodes of The X Factor USA, we have seen quite a couple of roller coaster ride eliminations as the competition get fiercer by the week as it moves into the semi-finals.

Yesterday it proved and validated a point on a question which majority if not all of the ladies who aspires to succeed and win respect plus recognition from the gentlemen fail to understand the reasons to why they don’t know what the reason is to the question.

It was when Nicole Scherzinger made was unable to make the decision in her capacity as a judge when the decision power is in her hands, that she give up and let the public (America) decide who to eliminate and push onto the semi-finals round, between Rachel Crow and Marcus Canty.

In difficult times, leaders are equipped with a winners mindset, they have great foresight, and they accept, admit their mistakes immediately and moves forward without any regrets, but Nicole being a singer only, and not as a production like Simon Cowell nor L.A Reid, did not understand this point clearly in the video, evident the moment she went into shock and started crying herself as a judge, being consoled by Paula Abdul.

Below are a couple of reasons to summarize why women cannot overtake men unless they are able to be responsible for their own actions.

Why Ladies Cannot Overtake Men (since history to-date)

Disclaimer: The following are just examples which I use as reference to showcase why ladies can’t beat the glass ceiling as there’s such a saying and it’s my own opinion from a business perspective. I hope you (whoever is readying) will learn from other people’s mistakes and learn from it.

- Consistency : Nicole failed to practice this point, as she was able to cast a vote last week to send Drew Ryniewicz back but not Rachel Crow.

- Stick to your principles: Nicole as a judge in X Factor didn’t stick to her principles in terms of judging and compromise on her voting rights as a judge.

- Making a decision fast: Both Paula and Nicole have caused X Factor elimination results to go into deadlock before, which shows that winners must be able to do just that, look at Simon, he made a mistake with Drew, and immediately beg for help when at the voting in public at the live show instead of whispering into their ears nor avoiding the mic.

- No regrets: It was Rachel who show us a positive side of her when she said to Nicole prior to her casting the decisive vote: “Please don’t cry, I will go with anything” that shows that Rachel is mentally mature to accept whatever comes to her, and indeed she did, after her elimination and crying, in the interview she was still cheerful and ready to move on to the next stage of her life. She repeated console Nicole again at the backstage.

- Face the music: Paula did a good job in this aspect, despite receiving death threats from last week’s elimination of Drew, she still take it in her pride and cast the vote as part of the rights of a judge to send send Rachel home this week (yesterday), unlike Nicole who might be new and inexperienced as a judge to waver and move towards the majority’s decision to gain acceptance in bid to reduce criticism, something that winners should never do, avoiding, but she did.

To sum up, to be a winner, you must first associate yourself with winners who’s being there and done that. Both Drew and Rachel are already winners in their own fields and they were very positive despite their X Factor Loss. Having worked in the company for nearly 6 weeks after tomorrow, some how I am starting to learn and appreciate the difficulty of managing people, and getting them to work as what they are being told to.

Telling people instructions is simple, but enforcing and ensuring that tasks are being executed is another thing.

As I gradually starting to get used to real adult working life as a employee, observing my colleagues and superiors on the way they handle people, how they approach tasks and get the message across is another thing.

It takes a lot of work to learn to handle different people, and talk to them, ask them to get the work done based on the style they like it, and not the style others wants them to work, is what I really noticed.

Employees don’t change, but as senior employees, sometimes they will change, I was lucky to have another colleague who’s more senior than my superior and has her ways of handling everybody else within the company. Observing and communicating with her helps in many ways.

First, I get my questions answered.

Second, she helps explain her personal humble perspective, as well as what the company perspective.

Third, seeking her help is somehow different from other colleagues and even superiors from all my past employments. Her approach of bringing forward a subject is soft, yet firm without putting the other person on the offensive side, with a slight feeling of joking manner. The first person that i actually learn on how to better communicate with people in future.

There’s actually a argument in the office this morning, between a full-timer and a part-timer, and the best part is, both of these two guys approach that senior colleague (not age, but her experience staying with the company)  didn’t not managed to put out the fire over disputes of using computers as their work are being stopped without the use of particular computer with the specific software inside.

When my superior walked in, he went straight to his office but came out when their argument was heating up with increasingly louder voice and told both of the guys off, and successfully put out the flames. I don’t know what happened if any solution was being found or did both compromise by sharing computer..but ya..

If I didn’t remember wrongly the phrase should be something like “I don’t know what’s happening… but if you both want to quarrel, go outside the office to quarrel” in a firm voice and walk off back to his office, than the quarrel stopped and magically there was peace.

That argument thought gave me a valuable lesson, in times like such, just remind them their position and that they are actually working than they will automatically snap out of the mess.

The other thing about managing people is handling new employees like me being new, my superior did something similar like my previous employer by letting me have a free hand at doing things the way I like it..but after the first month, when results are not up to expectations, than comes the communication to talk about the issue and priority from the company’s perspective in delivering results.

It is only after frequent exchange in understanding from the business perspective that I made adjustments of standard internet marketing steps and procedures to bend to the business needs in getting the job done so that the business, my superior and me gets what we want ultimately.

With my superior representing the company’s investors as well as himself as a superior, open discussion without the face to face confrontation sitting arrangement, sidewards helps a long, that is helpful and good planning in keeping the company office conference room small, thus reducing the possibility of face to face which automatically puts individual’s defensive barrier up.

There’s still a long way to go, and I’m continuously learning and absorbing anything and everything that i can learn. Had it not for my pre-conditioned entrepreneurial mindset via banging into the wall multiple times, and being cheated, mislead into scams, conversions and verbal agreement, i would not be the person I am today to learn and capture small little details into my mind instantly.  Paying tuition fee does helps, but it will only help you when you feel the pain and want to prevent it from happening ever again.

The key skill to success is actually not wealth management but people management. Money can buy nearly everything, but not the trust, mutual respect that ought to be earned, that’s why only the top Forbes business owners managed to grow the business as well as giving employees sufficient room to move around without feeling restrained with red tapes.

Friends are people who started off as strangers, to acquaintance, before coming friends, best friends, buddies etc.

But as we grow older, and wiser, our number of friends start to decrease due to change of environment occupation and thus companionship becomes less than important as we all learn the primary importance is money, without it, survivor will be a problem itself.

The rich and poor people all have their own judgement on how to select the friends they choose to hang out with.

As the title suggest, selecting the good friends is important, but maybe only a couple of people will realize this, and more than half the population (poor individuals) never learn nor understand why they need to be picky, choosey when it comes to selecting friends.

Here’s a couple reasons why you (die-die) must know this:

One: Like minded people tend to stick together, and they attract the same people too as well. If you want to be rich, you need to think like a rich, talk, behave, and network with the rich, so one day you will soon be rich.

Two: Your network of friends whom you hang out together often determines your net-worth. It is only natural, and also instinct for man to hang around people on the same level to feel comfortable.

So if you are comfortable hanging out in people earning, entertaining and enjoying themselves with the leisure widely used and patronized majority, than you will remain poor, for happiness blocks a person from moving forward. It is a trap so to speak, that’s why successful individuals are never happy with what they have and always aiming higher. That said, leads us to the phrase “Don’t rest on your laurels”, speaks for itself and gives competitors a chance to overtake the leaders in any niche, something that is tested and proven.

Three: Your results, achievements are directly connected to the network, social circle that you hang out with.

That’s the reason why rich get richer, as they recommend and help each other succeed by helping others, they are helping themselves, having to return favors to each other in future.

The poor on the other hand only takes advantage of each other, and never returns the favor, thus they only get back to worse, it applies even to the intelligent, rich individuals in the wrong crowd will still be broke ultimately.There are only hindrance to each other.  (This happens even in family members living under the same roof, where poor family members would not want you to succeed, because it makes them look stupid not to follow in your path when you success means the people around you are all failures.)

Four: Learn and do the right things, whatever that helps you win, become a champion and succeed in life. It is a route less traveled, since our number of friends are decreasing as we age, grow older, why not start replacing negative with positive friends. The winners takes all, that’s why they always go against the flow where objections are plentiful, and the winner shares credit and rewards with their team-mates. The losers can only take if not fight for whatever is left behind, and never to share anything they get with the others.

In life, we only live once, so do the right thing. Isn’t it what everybody sets out to be successful in our own ways no matter how small or insignificant the success is?

Maturity is a term used to describe either a person, society, business or country that responds to situations in a appropriate manner worthy of his/her status at the position at any particular time, without ruin the reputation, creditability he or she may be representing should they be working for organizations or is a governor.

It is not something that comes easily. In fact real maturity comes only to individuals, societies, business entities and nations that have experienced at some time unpleasant experience and circumstances that may force, pressure or push them in one way or another into doing something against his or her will nor is that task considered popular to begin with.

While the law states that majority of the countries all adults are classified as adults as long as they are aged twenty-one years and older, having access to credit cards and taking up their own responsibility, due to their physical maturity.

Yet most of the ‘adults’ are not mature mentally for the reason that there are only increasing numbers of crimes committed all over the world, individuals are not socially, morally, ethically responsible for their own actions, having to use law to force individuals to submit and follow law, that is not a sign of maturity. Only those individuals who act, in the interest of themselves as well as the others who revolve around them are really considered to be mature.

In the entertainment industry, only a handful of countries’ entertainment business are considered mature. Untied States, Europe and Taiwan are those few countries that have achieved a maturity state of entertainment business.

It means that all individuals regardless of male, female, single, married, divorced, separated or others, all are given equal treatment and exposure and opportunity to serve the audience who are paying the businesses and the celebrities to continue their occupation. The audience doesn’t mind the celebrities’ martial status and accepts them for who they are and what they are, even if they committed crimes and are associated with drugs etc. Most of the other countries, they are still learning, and growing, not yet mature, as they and their audience still lack maturity, only favoring single status celebrities, those with a clean sheet of history with no bad associations nor publicity.

Hong Kong is slowly crawling towards that direction and it is a good sign, as married celebrities are still given opportunities to develop themselves and serve the public audience.

In the business arena, only a couple of industries are mature, majority of the others are not. Namely property, aviation, food businesses are the only few industries that have matured. By this definition, it means that they are open to anyone and everyone for expansion, testing of new products, information and exchange of mutual interest to help each other grow in a fair competitive landscape without any nasty underhand tactics.

In terms of society maturity, only certain European States are considered to be mature, all the other countries including United States are still learning. Why, simply because they still have the thinking, their white skin is superior, yet the fact is, their economy is in a mess due to their ‘superior thinking’ like the Europe nations in particular Greece who pull down the economy status of European Nations.

Europe is a nice place to travel and explore, for they already faced the bad experience of being over-powered by another competitor United States, so they accepted their place, and are still finding their right position, with humility that is widely recognized, mainly due to positive experience in tourism where clients post majority of positive remarks and acceptance by local citizens, there are a healthy balance and mixture between the locals and the expats from different nationalities.

United States on the other hand, while they are developed nation states, their society is not developed globally, as in the Amazing Race show, contestants are frequently spotted cursing, rejecting other countries cultures instead of accepting it graciously as well as politely rejecting it if they don’t like as they race to complete the challenges to win the award. Japan on the other hand is the most matured society with lots of freedom and manners in this aspect.

Individuals like you and me on the other hand, majority of the people are not matured mentally, just think of how positive or negative our thinking is of the others, other countries and traveler, how we treat our fellow friends, strangers, staffs, immigrants and tourists.

Are we embracing them or are we rejecting them for fear of competition for job? You think about it, and see if you are considered mature enough. Physical maturity is nothing, emotionally, mentally mature is what we should be going after.

If you think deep and long about this topic, you will gradually realize the link and relationship between maturity and wealth. Those who are really mature gets all the wealth, not money, but real wealth that comes in abundance. They live much happier and work harder than the others. To succeed, first be mature, to be mature, first widen your exposure by having different kinds of experiences in life, that adds to your wisdom and helps improve the way we handle and react to things even under pressure.

Those who are not mature enough, and yet very immature individuals acting cute, over-protected, unable to protect him or herself are just examples of failures in life. Where they are often being made used of, abused, some are even criminals, for they failed to discipline themselves and commit crimes, end up in jail, yet not learn from their mistakes and keep on repeating the same mistakes again and again.

“Maturity does not comes with age, but it does comes in a package with exposure and experience of set-backs in times of difficulty.” – That’s what I think.

Flexibility is important not just in health, but also as important in relationship and in business, this is what I learn it the hard way.

After staying in a fix position looking in the direction of the speakers over live coaching training recording in my mentor’s office for his home study course over the last weekend, the next day, my neck was score to the core, tight muscles, having difficulty even turning to my right side normally. Instead of turning just the neck, I have to turn both my head and my body towards right side in order to see stuffs on the right side.

Second day, it got worse, having to experience pain even with just a sneeze, or slight movement. Left with no choice, consulted the general practitioner doctor in the polyclinic, she commented. “Our body is very strange, your muscles will get score if you don’t move at all, if you move too much, it will also get score.”

That was a wake-up call. That not only was it important to remain flexible, it is also important to remain flexible in relationship as well as in business.

In business, we must be flexible to stretch at times to meet goals and datelines and attempt to reach for the unreachable, that’s what it takes to do business. Testing anything and everything, multiple projects at a time instead of one project with different people taking charge for different projects respectively and measuring the results and going with the next best choice for profit and growth.

Whereas in relationship, it is to have quick-thinking, reactions, reflexes to respond accordingly. A person who is bad at handling relationships will be as bad in business, as it is all about people business, failure to handle people means failure in business. That’s what evolving and materializing in businesses all over the world right now.

Social Media Interaction via Internet Marketing has not only forced businesses to bend to the customers, but also force business owners to keep updated with the latest technology, trends and the next wave of best business practices.Fortunately, all these important information was taught to us by my mentors in a live-event recording for a product of home study program for businesses who wants to grow their business.

As for the specific name, I’ll reveal it only after my mentors launch the product globally to maintain its secrecy. The latter however is to switch if not move towards a specific direction after something has happened, meaning to say, change is being forced upon, while flexibility is like having an advantage over the rest with a first-mover advantage by reaching for something before it even becomes a must.

Just like the picture above, it is not over-rated, but of course, we don’t need to be so fit like the lady in the picture, just stay open minded, and test everything that comes your way, and you’ll have the first mover advantage and experience to leverage on when others are still testing, you on the other hand already knows what the results will be like and how to market the results, products for a profit perhaps.

Sports is an activity that involves both individual, and team competes for a championship in an open contest against any incoming competitor.

While it may not seems to have any significant link to business or entrepreneurship, there are some relationship and similarities if we were to compare and identify similar traits of both the sports and business.

The traits required for both sports and business are as follows.

Precision -To hit back back at your competitor at the right time.

Advantage -  Attack and focus on the competitor’s weakness in pressuring them to give way under pressure

Preparation – Athletics all prepare and exercise on a regular if not frequent basis to be in the best of shape and health condition

Recovery – They will get injured in the process of competition, but they will accept their failure of temporary defeat over lack of preparation to strengthen to muscles, and work towards recovery and strengthen their weakness so it will be twice if not thrice as difficult to have their injury surface again. That is done so by proper rest and acceptance of their weakness.

Reflex – The natural body behavior to move accordingly on its own to hit back responding to movements required to win if not move forward.

Correction – Instant error acknowledgement and immediately correction of past error, commonly seen during badminton, table-tennis and many other sports.

Practice – All sports individuals frequent practice in perfecting their moves, on both the attack and defense whenever required

Exposure – Getting more exposure to the stronger players, giving them more experience in which forcing them (under-performers) to immediate accept their weakness and improve on their strengths and minimize their weaknesses so as to improve their overall performance and gain experience to know what is required to play at the top level.

Footwork – The basics of all sports defined as the foundation to greatly minimize injury, how to properly move forward, backwards, sidewards without tripping nor hurting yourself in the process.

Play – While sports may be a competitive sports, they are also in enjoying the playing process, not just with the sports, but also with the competitor and the audience and giving back different set of responses and strategies based on the competitive landscape. Enjoying the play is a must, without with, they will be just ordinary playing the sports at a leisure pace.

Momentum – Just like the formula in science, this also has the same formula. Requiring constant if not increasing speed and force to make sure the stronger competitor gets his/her way against a weaker opponent. When dealing with the professionals and experts when both contenders are on the same competitive level, focus and concentration is important, as there’s a common saying “Mind Over Body”

Distraction – While there may be plenty of distractions in any sports event where the audience create noise pollution in the form of cheering, the same cheering might be a nuisance to another group of athletes sharing the same venue with two different group of games happening at the same time. Professionals have however learn to cope with this distraction and selectively ignore negative distractions. By turning a blind ear to the booing, jeering and accepting on applause and encouragement when they deserve it, blocking if not positioning themselves in a self enclosed mental state of mind.

Rules – Always following and keeping within the rules (obedience) are what makes sports so sought after, for it is considered fair for all within any game.

Coach – Any professional sports competitor will always have a coach to guide them, just like business, they also have with the exception of a mentor instead of a coach.

Face off – The courage required to face competitors and maintain composure even if oneself is losing behind, and continuing the game with sportsmanship like a true winner to complete what they have started.

Competition – Always being aware of the always growing and changing competition as new, seasoned, experienced opponents take their time to play required to clinch a win with adapting to new competitors with different strategies required to secure a win.

Support – Behind every sports, there must be sufficient support in place, both physical, emotion and even mental.

Win – Any sports, all players play to win, even in leisure game to foster relationship and rapport between both parties. There’s a saying “Play To Win”

Punishment – Applied only when a party or a group attempts to ignore the rules and guidelines and take matters in their own hands. Offenders are dealt with by suspension of any participation of competition to ensure only the fair game is observed in sports.

in a nut-shell, if you were to take away the sports element, and use the same words on the business, you can easily identify and apply the same set of equations into any business model and sector as long as you know how to play the game.

Just apply all the rules and doings on sports onto business and you should find that it is much easier to succeed in business. The reason why people think and feel its difficult is because there’s no clear hard and fast rule that applies to all businesses since they are all different. Now that you know the secrets, apply and follow exactly and you will succeed in no time.

Improvement is to advance to the next level, if not to correct existing errors and replace whatever went wrong with the right procedures and have a system or a machine running automatically with minimal supervision for higher profitability.

It can be applied on anything, from the use of land, property, education, imparting of skills essential for surviving in both the urban and jungle habitat for different perspective and implementing new knowledge and steps that works on other system and duplicate in elsewhere with hopes that it will work and boost profits, reduce the cost of operating the business, the learning curve for better absorption and application in real life.

What everybody seek is nothing more than improving on whatever we have, slightly better is at least better than no change at all. With hopes of better standard of living, more money if not returns from investments, happier life with family and love ones etc.

All those simple improvements can be easily achieved if oneself were to practice a bit of complacency, appreciating and cherish what each and everyone of us have on our hands or those of our resources and make do with it.

Example: While most if not all people at work wants to have a balanced working life, with a healthy dose time spend between family and work, such can be easily achieved, if the business practice a no over-time practice. For working overtime is in fact a sign of being unorganized, spilling extra time at work at the expense of lost cherish family time. With lesser quality family time, employees in the long run will have lower productivity due to lost of motivation at work knowing clearly it is nothing but overtime working practice, thus the overall business profit drops, while expenses and cost increases, and retrenchment sets in.

Failure on a single person – the boss to force a family work life balance will also lead to loss of productivity and profits for the business.

The same idea applies to investment, where the super rich may at times reported to commit crimes if not immoral acts, whereby cases of celebrities rapping a fellow partner of the same gender of the same age if not younger.. That is a clear example of which whereby those successful individuals have lost their sanity, without a reason to make money, they end up abusing their money and power.

Look at Michael Jackson, the numerous reports of him molesting younger boys before he became a father, after which, he has his own children, the molesting stopped, due to a moral issue and valid reason to be a good role model, such is when improvements are made for the better.

The other example will be Paris Hilton, frequently caught for having drugs in her possession when she travels to foreign countries, and that is very common among celebrities all over the world. They never attempt to improve their own condition due to lack of proper reason on how to be happy despite all their success, such that they turn to turns to remain in a temporary sense of happiness.

A neutral example will be Angelina Jolie whereby she made perhaps some slow and gradual improvements along the way. Changing tattoos frequently, whenever she changes a boyfriend, and removing the past tattoo. The good part worth learning is that she has a clear objective to help out in the philanthropic activities, and adopting many children, as a role model to others.
To sum up, if you seek improvement towards success, first know clearly what you want to do with the money once you have hit your goal, and execute it. Only by being happy with what you do, than only will you be able to continuous work harder and harder to increase your success, and spread the happiness and joy of success with those whom have helped you.

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.

Results is the consequence, effect or outcome of something.

It is a set of grades that only last for perhaps a day, to a month if not at most for a year.

Until which, you need to upgrade and improve to get better results. For results is just nothing but a temporary measure of success depending on the perspective of an individual.

While education certifications may last a lifetime, but generally they are out-dated after a year with annual newly graduated students as replacement forcing older graduates to either upgrade their academic results else backed it up with real employment experience and sales record in their past employment.

Business results of success last only for most a month, and they need to prove their worth on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to their customers, investors and shareholders that they know how to run and make the business profitable even if it is in the healthcare sector where lives are at risk, and that leads to the rise of cosmetic, corrective surgery to beautify patients, people who are not medically ill, and seeking for just a better image.

To sum up, results last only a short period of time, what makes the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is partially due to this results element, for the former knows all too well that results last only for a few seconds in seriously competitive situations like in the stock market, sports like Formula One, based on every race results.

The former however thinks that their past results are all that they need, thus the difference in activity, actions, contributing to the different rates of success.

Those who do more, get more, those who do less let less, such is true in almost anything and everything, be it relationship, business, education and life.

Results are just temporary, it is the consistency, winning results that matters and the delivery of expected and unexpected results to whoa the people who believe in an individual or the business.

If you notice the direct connection and relationship between results and success or failure, than you will know how difficult it is to be successful, while it is difficult, but it is worth the effort.

Integrity is something that is considered to be worthless in majority of the people but considered priceless in the minority professionals.

Worthless in the sense whereby there are immediate return on investment also know as profits, mark-ups and margins do not show up instantly thus majority of the employed and self-employed individuals have experienced what all working adults would least like to be faced with, and that is office politics.

It is a unpleasant, ugly politics battle, making an office environment hostile, changing individuals with happy to sad in a matter of seconds.

Yet it is considered to be priceless in the minority professionals. Reason being so is have you ever seen any wealthy individuals with bad office politics? Never, and you will not observe anything like that in their business operations at any point of time. The office environment might be hostile, but it’s considered a battle of survival of the fittest with the best sales closing etc.

Not many people will actually pay attention to this word, it’s more of a morals and ethical principles to differentiate character, reputation of an individual, business or around a brand label.  It is what separates the successful minority professionals from the unsuccessful majority of the individuals fail to excel in.

For having a negative reputation, integrity, it is equivalent to lower possibilities of closing a deal with a client based on past record. When you are not worthy to be of a positive influence among your immediate social circle of peers, friends and family members, chances are you will only attract the same group of individuals similar to you in character and personality. That is why there is these phrase “Great minds think a like”, and the reason you see both the wealthy individuals (business owners, venture capitalist) and the mafia leaders hang out together.

How dear they are..close to our hearts and mind..

At times..they may seem so distant…

Looking back at those past pictures which brings me happy memories, but they are not the same like before..

People change, Buildings aged, and are left vacant..friendships don’t really last unless people really do have the bonding like before..but as i meet different people, some how i realized that friendship is something that money can’t buy..

Real friendship is something that despite years of absence and lack of contact, the bond will still be there..that’s the real friendship which we should be after..I’m lucky enough to learn this..
